HOUSE O2

Family home O2 is located west of Slavonski Brod, in a rural little town with vineyard views on  its north side and plains on the south. The main factors that influenced its design and spatial organization were threefold; an extremely narrow lot, placed right at the boundary of the neighboring property, the access to the lot being on the south side, and the lifestyle and habits of the investor.

The combination of requirements for privacy and visual communication with the entrance to the lot resulted in a south-facing ground level living space and upstairs parents' bedroom. The latter looks over the entrance and the covered parking spot which functions as a fence and visual barrier against the street. The entrance to the house with a porch, the children's bedrooms, and upstairs bathroom, are al facing the neighboring lot. A screen of wooden blinds provides visual protection.
