FACADE OF BUSINESS CENTER ROMEO I JULIA
Business Center Romeo i Julia is situated in the midst of the business zone on Radnička road. The building is surrounded by taller business and commercial structures in a part of the city with extremely dense construction.
Before architectural intervention, the business center was facing two problems. The first – the proximity of surrounding structures which led to visitors often passing the building, unaware that they had reached their destination, and continuing along the street looking for the address. The other problem was a scarcely perceptible main entrance. Before the adjacent building was built, the southwest entrance leading up to the reception used to be more noticeable, until the only remaining facade facing the street became the southeast one. Therefore, visitors who succeeded at finding the building would encounter a new problem – locating the main entrance.
This architectural project's goal was creating a new striking visual identity and, in the same instance, doing away with two of the main problems the building was facing. The intervention was separated into two stages.

The surrounding structures make it harder to notice the business center and visitors often miss it by mistake. The architectural solution needed to accentuate the building and direct visitors towards it.
THE PROBLEM OF LOCATING THE BUILDING
The first stage involved renovating the facade and delivering a new visual identity. A yellow and black palette was picked and the number 47 painted on the facade so that visitors would immediately know they were at the right address. A graphic that evokes the character of the space was added to the vitrified section of the facade.
The second stage was marked by the placement of a totem sign depicting the building's street number and a list of companies that use the center. The flooring is also painted yellow to stand out more so that visitors could instantly spot their destination in spite of the low perceptibility of the entrance.
