APARTMENT D1

The apartment is located on the seventh floor of a residential building in Zagreb. The entrance area contains closets that conceal electrical installations and the “hidden” door to the bedroom was fitted into the wardrobe which looks onto the room and hallway.

The positioning of existing plumbing made the design process difficult. It defined the placement of  the kitchen, whereas windows influenced the positioning of the desk and living room. Separating the kitchen from the living room is a semi-transparent partition made up of open and closed shelving. It created privacy for the living room so the space wasn't closed off.

A washing machine was placed by the bathroom sink and concealed behind a sliding door. The toilet is separated by a door and the shower by glass.
