APARTMENT K5
Aesthetics and design in every aspect. This was not a simple task. The house was built in the first half of the nineteenth century. Classic construction for the time – solid brick with a timber joist and rubble. The project anticipated a full remodeling – knocking down all partition walls, removing all plaster, floor layers, and the rest.
We installed underfloor heating, new heat, water, and drainage systems, and new electrical installations. The bathroom which is entered from the living room through a small anteroom was especially challenging. The wall separating the bathroom and living room is irregular with many niches on both sides and a semicircular part. A small storage unit was created above the bathroom. Wooden slats were installed on the living room side.
