Upon analyzing all the necessary parameters, we concluded there was no point in tearing down walls, so all rooms kept their original outlines. The colors and materials were matched to the color of the existing exotic parquet flooring. Gentle tones were selected so that the apartment wouldn't appear closed off or dark, hence the white for both the lamps and the ceiling. The indoor air conditioning unit was concealed inside the upper wall cabinets near the TV and the curtain rail etched into the original drop ceiling. The space got its needed airiness while still being fully furnished.
