THE MEĐIMURJE HERITAGE SOCIETY

The Međimurje Heritage Society's headquarters is located in the very center of Zagreb. One partition wall was torn down to turn two smaller rooms and a hallway into one larger room. All other walls are bearing walls. The space contains an entrance area with toilets, an office and two larger rooms; one for meetings and the other for casual socialization. Plaster was removed from the column and beam in the room with the bar, exposing concrete. One wall, stripped to brick, would later be used for jars and shelves lined with items showcasing Međimurje's tradition.

The opposite wall features shelving shaped like like Međimurje's municipalities with certain niches containing tourist pamphlets and souvenirs from their respective municipalities. The bar area has a drop ceiling made of wooden planks. The meetings room has a more serious air to it. A TV is positioned by the table. Presentations and meetings can be held in the room. The niche is used to promote winemakers and the shelves have been made to ensure the bottles are visible and can stand upright. The remaining wall features a piano and book shelves.
